Background & experience
Richard is the Head of Burlingtons’ Employment and Immigration Department and has been a practising solicitor since 2010.
Richard was called to the Bar in 2004, having graduated from the University of Cardiff in 2002, obtaining an LLB (Hons) in Law and French. He later cross-qualified as a solicitor, having gained substantial experience of civil litigation (as an advocate), and later of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Richard also has experience in handling business visa matters.
Richard joined Burlingtons as an Associate Solicitor in July 2012, having previously worked for a specialist employment law firm in the City. He became a partner in January 2014.
Richard speaks fluent French. He is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
