Background & experience
Lydia is a junior partner in the corporate department and specialises in private business transactions including asset and share acquisitions and disposals, group re-organisations, options, joint ventures and finance arrangements.
She acts for clients across a broad range of sectors including art & media, education, finance, technology and real estate.
Lydia currently oversees the company secretarial work undertaken by Burlingtons’ company secretarial arm, Cosec Services Limited. Lydia also provides pro-bono advice to charities and assists on probate matters.
Prior to commencing her legal training, Lydia worked for a well-known auction house and has several years’ experience in intellectual property and art and media law. With a background in the arts, she has a strong interest in protecting brands and intellectual property rights.
Lydia studied history of art at the University of Cambridge before obtaining an MPhil in the same subject. She also has a masters degree in law from the University of Law.
